Stirling Range – Mount Toolbrunup

Via a myriad of twists and turns, up, over and around boulders, scrambling across steep rocky scree, the thread of a track to Toolbrunup Peak winds upward to some of the most breathtaking panoramas of the South West.

The changes in vegetation across the ecocline are distinct and beautiful, enriched with autumn hues, deep greens and peppered with graceful wildflowers. The weather can also change rapidly at these altitudes, from rocky outcrops stark against bold blue skies to an overcast blanket that can obscure all but the outline of the peaks.
